This unit has a 1.4 HP motor that operates in two speeds the lower speed runs @ 550 RPMs and the high speed runs @ 1150 RPMs. As you can see in the pictures there is a nice cover and splash ring with this one and the bowl is in great condition with a drain hook up already in place. It also comes with a cover and handle to fit the splash ring. all in good condition.When you purchase this unit then you are buying the best ones ever made for testing and grinding samples and not only that the 41-1500 is far from being a tinker toy like the newer ones are these days. These apparatus may be used as fine grinder, rough and final polishing by taking advantage of the two speeds and abundant power. The 8" bronze wheel is in spectacular condition and a cloth clamp will be shipped with the unit.
